Heather L. Bean is a Central Florida based, self-taught artist who works in traditional and digital art.   Her largest art influence has been Disney art and animation.  Heather's favorite themes to draw revolve around mermaids, fandoms, and designing original characters.  She has been doing traditional art since her childhood, but only began her digital artwork journey in 2016.  Heather uses watercolors, acrylics, and calligraphy inks for her traditional art, and an iPad Pro with the Procreate app for all of her digital artwork.  

This artwork was named "The Flame" by the artist and inspired by Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid. The original was a digital creation that was hand drawn on her iPad Pro. It is printed on a wrapped canvas and has black lining on the back. The artist has signed the back.
